This page explains what the 530 Club website stores and how the public board and private clubhouse work. Contact the club through the foundation inbox with privacy or account questions.
Membership and sign-in
Sign-in is handled by ChatGPT. The site receives your sign-in email and a site-specific user ID; it does not receive your ChatGPT password or chat history. The club stores that identity with your rider name, optional rig and bio, membership status, join date, and optional 18+ declaration. The site owner sees membership email addresses to approve and manage access. Other members do not see them.
What others can see
Discussion threads and replies are public and may be indexed by search engines. Approved members can see rider profiles, group chat, and approved member photos. The club admin can review and moderate all submitted content, including private chat and pending photos. Private means restricted to approved members, not end-to-end encrypted. Members can still take screenshots.
Adults-only photos are disabled by default. If the owner enables them, they require both admin approval and a viewer’s 18+ self-declaration. This declaration is not independent age verification.
Photos and messages
Photos uploaded through the website are resized and converted to a new JPEG before storage, which removes the original file’s embedded metadata in the normal upload flow. Do not include private details in the picture or caption. Only upload material you have permission to share and the consent of people pictured. A submitted photo stays in the approval queue until an admin reviews it.
The contact form stores your name, email and message in the owner’s private inbox. It does not subscribe you to a mailing list or automatically send an email. Community records and contact messages are kept for club operation and moderation. Hidden or archived content may remain stored. Your own photo deletion removes the stored image; contact the club for other deletion requests.
Optional traffic measurement
If you allow analytics, the site measures page views, resource-link clicks, and community actions such as creating a discussion. It records the page path, resource label, referring domain, timestamp and a daily-hashed session identifier. It does not include message text, photo contents, sign-in emails or search text in analytics events. Raw analytics events older than 90 days are removed during later tracking requests.
A browser preference remembers your analytics choice. A session-storage identifier connects consented activity within a browsing session; the stored analytics identifier also changes by day. Essential sign-in and security functions operate when analytics is declined.
If the owner configures Google Analytics 4, it loads only after you allow analytics. Google’s own cookies and processing then apply under Google’s privacy policy. Advertising personalization signals are disabled in this integration. Changing your preference reloads the page and stops future optional measurement if you decline; it does not delete data already sent to Google.
Advertising and outside links
No ad-serving scripts are active at launch. A saved AdSense publisher ID supplies verification information only. The private Clubhouse and member photo endpoints are excluded from ad serving. A Google-certified consent setup will be needed in applicable regions before Google ads are activated.
Park, dealer, map and parts links open outside websites, which have their own privacy practices. Current directory links are ordinary links without affiliate tracking. Future paid placements must be labeled.
Security and choices
Posting limits help reduce spam. When a network address is available, a daily hash is used for rate limiting; raw addresses are not stored in the community database. The hosting and sign-in providers may maintain their own operational logs. Membership and moderation actions are checked on the server.
You can edit your rider profile, remove your own posts and messages from view, delete your uploaded photos, change your analytics preference, or request help from the club. Avoid putting information in a public post that you would not want shared.
